Primary school admission eligibility by date of birth

Eligibility for primary school admission in Sarjapur is set by date of birth, not by your child’s age on the day you apply. Vidyashilp School, Sarjapur sets a date-of-birth range for each class, and a child must fall inside it to be considered for that class in AY 2027–28.

Class

If your child just misses a cut-off, that is not a setback. A child who spends another year in Prep often finds the move to Grade 1 smoother. These ranges apply to 2027–28 only, so check the current ones for any other year. Our Grade 1 admission guide covers the “is five too young?” question in more detail.

Vidyashilp School, Sarjapur currently offers Prep I, Prep II and Grades 1 to 4.

Grade 1 admission starts with the date-of-birth range above, followed by the student interaction.

For Grades 1 to 4, the school says admission is based on assessment and interaction feedback plus the academic team’s recommendation. The child must also have been promoted to the grade applied for at the previous school.

The school describes the focus of the assessment as making sure a student fits well into its community. Ask the admissions team what the assessment covers for your child’s grade.

How to apply for primary school admission at Vidyashilp School, Sarjapur?

Start with the enquiry form on the Vidyashilp School, Sarjapur website. The admissions team then guides you through the campus visit, the application and document submission.

Knowing how to apply for primary school admission in Sarjapur mostly comes down to two things: starting with that enquiry and keeping your documents ready.
